These ten services are the plumbing and heating jobs we arrange across Shepherd's Bush, White City, Hammersmith and East Acton. Each goes to an independently owned partner company, with the price in writing first. Ring 07886 073115, use the contact page, or read how we work.

Which Service Fits Which Part of W12
Not every job turns up everywhere. The mix follows the housing.
Water Where It Should Not Be
Emergency plumbing, leak detection and burst pipe repair all deal with escaping water. In a Victorian conversion around the Green or Brackenbury, a leak can come through the ceiling of the flat below, so the first call is often about stopping the water and finding out whose pipe it is.
Drains and Toilets
Blocked drains and toilet repair cover the waste side. The council's flood work flags surface-water risk in Wormholt and White City and long-running sewer flooding on Askew Road and Boscombe Road, so gullies back up after heavy rain and the sewer may be Thames Water's, not yours.
Boilers, Heating and Pressure
Boiler repair, servicing, central heating repair and low water pressure share a cause more often than people expect: scale. Thames Water supply is hard, so combi heat exchangers, shower valves and pressure reducing valves clog together.
Bathrooms
Bathroom installation is the planned job in the list. In W12 flats it is usually about fitting a new layout around a tight airing cupboard and an old waste run.
Two Local Facts Under Every Quote
The Water: About 266 mg/l
Thames Water's published London reference figure for hardness is about 266 mg/l, which is hard on its scale. That is why you will see servicing, inhibitor and filters recommended before a fault repeats.
The Houses: Four Eras in One Postcode
Late-Victorian terraces, red-brick LCC cottages, estate blocks finished in 1953 and new apartments at Television Centre each fail differently. A partner company that knows the era usually knows the fault. See White City, Hammersmith and East Acton.

Good Questions
What does each of the ten services cover?
They run from emergency plumbing, blocked drains, leak detection and burst pipe repair to emergency boiler repair, boiler servicing, central heating repair, bathroom installation, toilet repair and low water pressure. Each has its own page with local detail and published London price ranges. If your problem sits between two of them, ring 07886 073115 and describe it, and we will match it to the partner company that handles that kind of fault.
Do you do the work yourselves?
No. We answer the line, find the independently owned local partner company that can reach you soonest and suits the fault, and text you its name before it arrives. The partner quotes in writing, does the work, invoices you and takes payment directly. We handle no invoices or payments, but we stay on the case afterwards and chase the partner if something is not right.
Is there a call-out charge?
That depends on the partner company, which sets its own prices. Published London guides list a weekday daytime call-out at roughly £80 to £150, including travel and the first hour, and a night call-out at about £150 to £250. Hourly labour after the first hour is quoted at around £60 to £80 in the daytime. The partner states what applies in writing before it starts.
Can I get a price before anyone attends?
We do not quote prices on the phone, because only the partner company can price a fault once it has seen it. You can have a written quote before any work starts, and you are free to refuse it and pay nothing for the work. In the meantime the published London ranges on each service page give you a sensible sense of whether a quote is fair.
Which areas do these services cover?
Shepherd's Bush, White City, Hammersmith, East Acton, Wormholt and Askew, which spans W12 and the edges of W6 and W3. Our base is 44 Hadyn Park Road, W12 9AG, in Askew Village. Local detail is on the White City, Hammersmith and East Acton pages. If your street is near the edge, ask on the call.
Do you handle emergencies and planned work?
Both, through the same number. The line is answered at all hours for floods, lockouts, burst pipes and overflowing toilets, and planned work such as a boiler service, a bathroom refit or a pressure fix is booked at a time that suits you. Planned work is usually cheaper, because it avoids the out-of-hours surcharges that London guides list at £100 to £250 for the first hour.
What standards does the work follow?
Water work follows the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and uses WRAS-approved fittings. Gas work follows the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and the manufacturer's instructions. Unvented cylinders follow Building Regulations Part G3, new boilers follow Part L, drainage follows Part H and system cleansing follows BS 7593. They are standards the work is built to, not credentials we claim.
How do I choose between repair and replacement?
Compare the repair quote with the age and condition of the appliance. A small fault on a fairly young boiler is normally worth repairing, while repeated faults, a failed heat exchanger or parts that are hard to find point toward replacement. A new combi in London is published at about £2,500 to £5,500 installed. The partner will give you both figures side by side so you can choose.
Why does hard water matter across these services?
Thames Water classes all its water as hard, with a published London reference figure of about 266 mg/l of calcium carbonate. Scale builds inside combi heat exchangers, cylinders, immersion heaters and shower valves, and it narrows pipes and aerators. That is why servicing, filters, inhibitor and sometimes a softener appear in quotes here, and why a fix that ignores scale often fails again within months.
What if I am not sure which service I need?
Ring 07886 073115 and describe what is happening. Most problems become clear within a minute or two: no heat is a boiler or heating job, a wet ceiling is a leak or burst pipe, and a gurgling sink is a drain. We will tell you plainly which service fits and whether it needs a call-out tonight or can wait for the morning.
